Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen is the new transformers movie, with the due release date set for June 26 2009. The director will again be ,Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Speilberg.
The crew have thought it would be a cool idea to introduce the legendary dinobots and also rumors have been around for a while that the Constructicons and therefore Devastator could appear in this movie. Considering a theme of merging Transformers, this is confirmation of that rumor. They have also said that they are introducing Soundwave along with his loyal minions ravage and Lazer beak
Filming began in Los Angeles, California in May 2008. From June 2, three days were spent on an action sequence at the Bethlehem Steel site in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, which doubles for a fictional Chinese city
The producers expect that with a bigger budget and the special effects worked out, the Transformers will have a larger role. The director hopes to include more close-ups of the robots' faces.
